Spring Bible Study: Philippians (Spring 2026)

Join us for a Phillipians Bible Study at the Paradox! At The Paradox Church, we value biblical literacy and believe that a deep understanding of Scripture is profitable for the individual and for the church body as a whole. Studying Scripture together in a Bible Study format provides a community environment for discussion and active mutual discipleship, as we encounter and apply Scripture to our lives.
 
Logistics:
Monday Evenings
February 9th - March 16th, 2026

6:30-8:30pm

Childcare is available, registration is required in advance. Cost is $50 per child ($150 family cap), which covers all six weeks.

Our maximum table capacity is 200; when it fills up, we will open a Waiting List. We also have a Self-Study option available (which includes the curriculum and teaching audio).

Phillipians Bible Study Syllabus 

Bible Study Structure:
On Monday evenings, participants will gather around tables in same-gender groups of 6-8 people for 55 minutes of discussion, 10 minutes of prayer, and a 45-minute lesson from the teaching team on the text. You will have the opportunity to list individuals you would like to be in a Discussion Group with during registration.

Bible Study Workbook:
Throughout each week, participants will read the Scripture text while engaging with content in a provided Bible Study Workbook. The workbook includes questions, along with prompts for journaling and prayer, and aims to grow you in reading, interpreting, and applying scripture while preparing you for your group discussion. Time to walk through the text and corresponding workbook content is expected to be 30 minutes daily for 4-5 days, no more than 2 hours total in a given week.

**Plan to pick up your workbook at the church in order to complete the first week of the study prior to the launch of Bible Study.

Optional Add-On: ESV Scripture Journal
These journals include the entire text of James with lined journal pages. They are great for marking up the text and taking notes, and they're easier to lug around than a whole Bible.
